A serving ranges from 1 teaspoon (1/4 ounce) per day, and up. Most people begin at 1 tablespoon per day (1/2 ounce) and increase over time to 2 or 3 tablespoons once per day. You may take more, but we find unless you're doing a cleanse, taking more than 2 or 3 tablespoons once a day may produce minor cleanse reactions, such as skin breakouts or such, since E3 Live is detoxifying. We suggest drinking a few ounces of pure water after each use.
Using 2 tablespoons per day, we find at Fresh And Alive that one 16 fluid ounce bottle will last about 24 days. Two tablespoons equals one fluid ounce, so logically a bottle should therefore last 16 days, but in reality we find it lasts 24. And yes, we did make sure we used a proper measuring tablespoon. In defrosted liquid state, E3Live™ must be kept cold and refrigerated at all times to maintain its freshness. Shelf-life thawed in refrigerator is about 7 days. Frozen E3 Live will last for months.
Although this is an algae, it is not slimy when consumed, but it does have a mild seaweed taste to it when eaten full strength. However, if you dilute it in fresh raw juice or water flavored with Stevia as detailed below, the taste is neutralized to the point that even most kids will drink it.
We don't recommend the manufacturer's instructions to partially thaw a week's worth of E3 Live and refreeze the remainder each week, since that diminishes the nutritional value and taste, and it's clumsy. Instead, we recommend thawing the bottle of E3 Live once in the fridge or at room temperature just until the E3 Live is liquid and still cold. Shake well to mix thoroughly, then dispense one- to three-tablespoon portions into either ice cube trays, or compostable two-ounce condiment cups with lids. Condiment cups have the advantage of being transportable. With ice cube tray portions, once frozen, you can pop them into a container (a plastic zip-lock bag works well) and keep them in your freezer, ready to use.
To use, simply place one portion into about eight ounces of water or juice. You can add other superfoods as well, such as marine phytoplankton, raw green powders, etc. If using water, you can sweeten the mixture with a flavored stevia such as Sweet Leaf or Omica brand stevias. Stevia is an herbal sweetener that does not feed yeasts such as candida albicans, molds, fungi, parasites, pathogenic bacteria, and viruses found in most humans today.
One option for taking E3 Live with you to places that don't have refrigeration is the E3Live Quick Shake Cooler Cup.
If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use if safety seal is broken.

There's only one ingredient in E3Live™, and that's 100% Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA for short), an edible freshwater plant. AFA is at the very foundation of the entire food chain.
Although it has been eaten for centuries by indigenous peoples, for the first time in history, AFA — nature's most basic food — is available in its complete, vital, fresh frozen, liquid form.
Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA) means invisible flower of the water. It is a fresh water nutritional plant referred to as cyanophyta. Cyanophyta are living water plants that grow in nearly all droplets of sunlit water and in every gram of soil, on the bark of trees and the surfaces of rocks. It is estimated that there are as many as 50,000 species, including various seaweeds and plankton.
Collectively, cyanophyta are responsible for 90% of the Earth's oxygen and 80% of its food supply. Perhaps the most interesting of these unicellular plants are the cyanophyta community, of which there are about 1500 species. The Upper Klamath Lake AFA is one of them. AFA is a very special form of cyanophyta. All foods reflect the environment in which they are grown. The beautiful, unpolluted Upper Klamath Lake — one of the few remaining alkaline lakes on the planet, holds the key to it's remarkable potency.
This lake has an astonishingly high mineral concentration due to a massive volcanic eruption that occurred in the vicinity over 7,000 years ago, covering the area with millions of tons of mineral ash. Seventeen streams and rivers deposit into the 140 square mile lake an annual average of 50,000 tons of the mineral-rich silt from the surrounding 4000 square mile volcanic basin, making Upper Klamath Lake one of the richest nutrient traps in the world.
Much has been learned about this amazing food since it became available as a food source over 20 years ago. There are more benefits being discovered every day as this cyanophyta is introduced to the medical and scientific communities. AFA has been available in powders and capsules, but now, for the first time in history, AFAis available in its much more potent and vibrant frozen liquid form.
You can find scientific studies of AFA here . Listen to what Brian Clement and Gabriel Cousens have to say about E3 Live.
If you do not "feel the difference" by your own evaluation, Fresh And Alive will refund your full purchase price, including shipping, for up to one year. This is a better guarantee than you will find from the manufacturer, Vision, or other resellers, since they do not refund shipping.
