The large Cell Block 5G is a metal case that completely blocks the electromagnetic fields (EMF) and waves from your cell phone (aka, a "Faraday cage") to protect you from the microwave radiation and other EMF that cell phones emit. With the Cell Block 5G, you can safely keep your phone on in a pocket or purse next to your body with no exposure to EMF. Note, when inside the Cell Block 5G, your phone will not be able to receive or send calls, texts, or data of any kind. You can safely leave your phone on while in the Cell Block 5G and have it in a pocket or purse next to your body with no EMF exposure, so you don't have to put your phone in airplane mode or shut it off, just whip it in and out of the Cell Block 5G as needed. The Cell Block 5G comes with a thin foam pad inside on one side to protect your screen from scratches, but the metal interior is smooth and won't scratch, so if you have a thicker phone, you can remove the foam. Fits most phones with a rubber/plastic protector case or sleeve, but for thicker cases like some Otter boxes, etc., you may need to replace your case with a thinner model to fit the phone inside the Cell Block 5G, so note the inner dimensions and measure your phone before ordering.

Please note, when on, cell phones can buffer data which can make your phone alert you to texts, voicemail, or other activity many minutes after you put it in the Cell Block 5G, but you can confirm with an EMF meter that no signal or EMF can escape the metal case.

Q: Will my phone receive calls and texts when inside the Cell Block 5G? Will I lose texts or calls when my phone is in the Cell Block 5G?
A: No, you won't receive or lose calls or texts, it's just like when your cell phone is off or in airplane mode, your calls will go to voicemail, and your voicemails and texts will be buffered and sent as soon as your phone is out of the Cell Block 5G and picks up a tower signal.

Q: My cell phone still rings and receives texts while it's in the Cell Block 5G. Is the Cell Block 5G working?
A: Yes, if you check your phone with an EMF meter, you will see there is no EMF or signal emitted or received by the phone. Cell phones have the ability to download voicemail and text data but not signal you for many minutes, even 30 minutes or more. So if your phone is on before you put it in the Cell Block 5G, even for a few seconds, it's possible that it can download voicemail or text data before you put it in the Cell Block 5G, and then alert you while in the Cell Block 5G. Also, cell phones can buffer live call data for 2 or 3 minutes so that if your phone momentarily loses connection to a tower (tower dead zone) while you're on a call, it will scan and connect to another tower as soon as possible. So if you are on a call with someone, place the phone in the Cell Block 5G for a minute or so, then take it out, you may still be connected to the caller and can continue your call, but while in the Cell Block 5G, your phone will not emit any EMF. You can confirm the Cell Block 5G does indeed block all EMF by measuring it with an EMF meter. We recommend the EM Fields Acoustimeter AM-11, or the Trifield TF2.
Q: Can my cell phone spy on me even when off? Will the Cell Block 5G prevent this?
A: According to cybersecurity experts like former NSA analyst Edward Snowden, and anti-spyware software companies like AVG Antivirus, and other technical papers cell phones can indeed spy on you even when turned off. The Cell Block 5G will stop any transmissions while your phone is in it, but when your phone is not in the Cell Block 5G, the phone can potentially transmit and receive, so it won't necessarily stop all spying, but it will certainly stop it while your phone is in the Cell Block 5G.
