Camping On Premises
Attendees are welcome to camp on the premises for $7 per tent or vehicle per day. There is room for RV parking, but no water or electric hookups are available. A hot outdoor shower and cold water sink are available. Camping is not recommended in the months of July, August, and September, see weather info below. Most months there are usually few to no biting insects, but bring your insect protection just in case. There are 5 acres of land, about half of it clear with manicured grass, the rest wooded. The yard is private, surrounded by small horse farms and a few residences, with a campfire area, and a small boat dock fro kayaing or canoeing. There are no alligators but there are the occasional raccoons, otters, bald eagles, osprey, hawks, armadillos, and waterfowl.

Weather and Insects
Typically mid-October through mid-December, and mid-March through May the weather is mostly sunny, dry and very comfortable, few to no biting insects, with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s at night to low 80s during the day. Mid-December through mid-March temps are typically in the 70s during the day and 50s at night, but occasionally can get to freezing at night with highs in the 40s during the day. There are few to no biting insects during these months. June and the first half of October are typically warm, with highs during the day in the upper 80s to lows at night in the low 70s. Biting insects are out but tolerable. July, August, and September are typically hot and humid, with highs in the high 80s to low 90s, frequent afternoon rain showers and lightning storms during the day, and lows in the 70s to low 80s at night. Biting insects are very prevalent, especially mosquitoes and no-see-ums (tiny gnat-like insects, aka "biting midges"). Camping is not recommended during these months.
